Each of our gîtes; the Fermette, the Cottage & the Dairy all have lovely warm atmospheres, are very comfortably furnished, with well equipped kitchens for decent self-catering. Plus modern bathrooms, cosy lounges & dining areas. Quality furnishings sets them apart making them real 'homes-from-home'.

We are flexible on our change over days & the length of your stay, so as long as you stay 3 nights or more on a self-catering basis, we'll do our best to accommodate you; arrive or depart on a day of your choice. If you are looking for less than 3 nights stay- try our B&B page.

Our 18th Century stone estate comprises 4 individual, holiday cottages of completely differing capacities & styles. Set around a central courtyard, they preside over 360º uninterrupted views over the 15 acre gardens & countryside beyond. The property faces due south & is miraculously quiet due to it's complete natural seclusion - any nature lover's dream! Hidden up our private wooded driveway, we really are a secret garden!

Today the ancient estate has been renovated into bright, cosy holiday cottages retaining all of their original charms, and the extensive grounds have been landscaped into various private garden areas, plus simply acres of communal grounds open to explore. Dine al fresco or sip wine on our elevated terraces surrounded by panormic views of the countryside & the host of resident wild birds and rabbits at dusk. In the winter months if it’s cold or snowing outside, there’s no better way to relax than in front of a real log fire or indulge in wine & hot nuts from the local markets.

Each accommodation is separate from one another, offering something slightly different in style & capacity, catering for all tastes & budgets.They can of course be rented together to provide truly fabulous group holidays. Only accessed by a long private drive, once on site you are transported to a private world; with no neighbours, no noise pollution and set in its own park!

You'll find our gites are a cut-above your average self-catering accommodation: Not only are they real homes-from-home (due to the quality furnishings & fixtures), they all benefit from being modern convertions with all new facilities. The amazing setting will seduce you instantly with panoramic views across acres of gardens and the utter seclusion is magical. There are terraces & lawns from which you can dine al-fresco, BBQ or just enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun go down! The gardens are teaming with wildlife: hares & rabbits on the lawns, fox, birds of prey, woodweckers, jays, swallows, even the odd dear or wild boar trot through.

Choose from a romantic cottage ideal for couples, a traditional french farmhouse perfect for families, our little dairy appartment for 1 or 2 persons or 3 giant Wigwams (outdoor bedrooms). You are welcome to mix and match our accommodation in any combination: perhaps the Fermette & the Dairy together, plus a furnished Wigwam for example - this way any number of guests can stay together from 1 - 25! The name of the game is really about having fun, so you will find us pretty flexible.

The sleeping capacities are set on all our accommodation, so you are able to easily work out how much accommodation you will require to book and the glamping is a perfect way to 'add' on extra bedrooms. We will not allow occupation by more than the maximum sleeping capacities, nor will we tolerate the arrival of 'extra' guests without prior arrangement (and if need be supplementary booking!), to preserve the balance and the peace & quiet of the site for everyone's benefit.

Having sai dthat, we will do our best to accommodate you and your group, no matter the length of your stay. Self-catering rates apply to any stay of 3 nights or longer, plus receive 10% discount on any stay of 7 nights or more.
